Jill Fielding plays guitar, bodhran, English
concertina, whistle and vocals. Jill has been building a great reputation around the
folk scene, especially after the release of her album "Once upon a Dream" and
more recently in November 2004 "Triplicity". She is also a resident of Maghull
Folk Club. Jill can also play piano and violin.
Nigel Fielding on keyboards and
vocals. Nigel is the latest member of the band, it's a case of if you can't beat 'em join
'em. He is a great asset to the band with his keyboard skills and lively introductions and
harmony vocals. Nigel worked in clubs in the 80's as a drummer, playing mainly for leading
acts.
| Shaun McGowan has
been a professional musician for over twenty years. Within his career he has fulfilled
many a varied musical role, ranging from Bassist/Vocalist for a progressive experimental
art rock band 'Mr.So&So' to 5-string banjoist/mandolinist for Bluegrass/Americana
string band 'The Racoons'. (He has even been a bagpiper for St.Patrick's pipe band
!) He is a keen collector of musical instruments and it's not usual for him to turn up to
a gig with Appalachian Dulcimers, a Banjo and a Bouzouki. |

"Some folk have style, some massive enthusiasm, some are skilled and others have a
common touch that endears the artist to their audience. I head & saw all of those
during your performance"
Bob Lines (Festival Directorl)
"With their foot tapping songs
and mixture of traditional and contemporary ballads and instrumental music they are not to
be missed - catch them if you can!"
Geoff Pickles (Festival Directorl)
"The feedback that I got from the
audience was that 'variety is the spice of life' and that they had all thoroughly enjoyed
the evening"
Graham Dixon (Trouble at Mill)
"I
have bought other CDs and albums by "big name" artistes but have not enjoyed
them as much. A really pleasant listening experience and well worth the £10."
Bernie (Caught the band live)
