Some folk have style, some massive enthusiasm, some are skilled and others have a common touch that endears the artist to their audience. I heard & saw all of those during your performance.

Dorothy  (Halifax Music Festival)
I am playing your CDs as I write to you. I do admire the way your voice and the backing complement each other I am so glad Saturday happened.

Alison Beach
Lyrical renditions of traditional and contemporary English and Irish songs accompanied on a diverse range of instruments.

Rob Henry  (Live at Kiln)
Your songs were of such quality that if someone missed the introduction they would not know where folk classic ended and JFB classic started.

Bernie Blaney  (Caught the band live)
“I have bought other CDs and albums by ‘big name’ artistes but have not enjoyed them as much. A really pleasant listening experience and well worth the £10.”

Geoff Pickles  (Cleckheaton Festival)
“With their foot tapping songs mixture of traditional and contemporary and their instrumental music they are not to be missed , catch them if you can!”

Chrys  (Caught the band live)
The album Triplicity was presented to a high standard, it works well with the music and feels warm to the eye, all information I needed was in the well presented booklet; the songs I have not heard before so as an introduction to folk I was surprised with the quality of the mix, well balanced with the vocals and instruments complimenting each other.

Bob, Sutton Colfield
This is a superb band from Lancashire who have been wowing audiences all over the country at festivals, clubs and you name it they have played there.
Jill has a fine voice which lifts you up whenever she sings and when you add the instruments of all three you get a very round sound.  Traditional and contemporary renditions with a hint of today and very, very relevant to todays folk scene.

Cheers Duff
