All members of the band are accomplished musicians in their own right, and have played in many clubs, festivals and private venues. They have worked in different bands before coming together to form the Jill Fielding Band.

All the members of the band are soloists and have been for many years. The success of the band is the friendships within it, and this is evident when you hear them.  Jill is from Staffordshire originally, Nigel is a Lancastrian, and Shaun is gaelic.
